M ost of us start life well; we’re happy and carefree but at some point things can change.

I’m here to let you know there is a light at the end of the tunnel. With a caring and understanding ear, I’ll help you to uncover the things that are holding you back in life.  Together, at your own pace, we can work through things like abuses, addictions, unhelpful habits and emotional issues.

Grief Counselling and Therapy

Losing a loved one is one of the most difficult experiences an individual has to deal with in life. If you have lost someone who was very close and important to you, you might be finding it very tough to adapt to the subsequent changes that the loss has made in your life. Grief can affect your beliefs, your relationships, your personality, and your view of the future. It affects people in many different ways.

Some people may experience feelings of sadness, guilt, regret, anger or yearning. Others may experience a sense of relief. Some may struggle to find meaning in their lives anymore. The emotions associated with grief can be confusing and troubling. Sometimes they may even be soothing. The consistent bouncing between different thoughts can be exhausting. Grief can take a real hold of your life if you let it.

 What is Grieving?

Grieving is a natural process following a loss, and a loss can be described as losing someone we love, a divorce, an occuational change, or even a life stages change. But whatever that is we feel the loss we can feel sad we can feel angry we might lose our appetite we might have sleeping problems, we might have trouble concentrating.

All those things are a natural part of grief and it’s important to remember the stronger the attachment, the stronger the attachment so if we’re experiencing grief and we were very much attached to the person who has passed, our grieving is going to be very very strong.

We need not be fearful of the process of grieving because we’re going to experience a lot of emotions we’ve never felt before and we might even think we’re going mad and generally most people go through the grieving process and then embark on a new journey in their life without the loved one but still keeping the loved one part of their world.

Sometimes we get stuck in our grieving for lots of reasons, and it gets prolonged. If you’re having trouble with grieving and feeling really sad and can’t get out of that feeling please give me a call on 0418 720 176 i’m happy to have a confidential chat. 0418 720 176
