 What is Grieving?

Grieving is a natural process following a loss, and a loss can be described as losing someone we love, a divorce, an occuational change, or even a life stages change. But whatever that is we feel the loss we can feel sad we can feel angry we might lose our appetite we might have sleeping problems, we might have trouble concentrating.

All those things are a natural part of grief and it’s important to remember the stronger the attachment, the stronger the attachment so if we’re experiencing grief and we were very much attached to the person who has passed, our grieving is going to be very very strong.

We need not be fearful of the process of grieving because we’re going to experience a lot of emotions we’ve never felt before and we might even think we’re going mad and generally most people go through the grieving process and then embark on a new journey in their life without the loved one but still keeping the loved one part of their world.
